Normal days

Hm.. It’s been a while, I haven’t post anything for almost 10 days now.
Well, I’ve been quite busy, my last activity at work is delivering some switches to schools. Before that, i’ve been taking students’ picture for our system database (and this work is not finished yet).. At home, I’m trying to fix this blog, I install wordpress and copy the database, and hopefully, I can create and upload a better (according to me) lay out for this weblog.
Yesterday, i broke my glasses apart, not the glass, but the frame. I’m now practically blind, except when riding my motorcycle because my helmet helps holding the glasses :-)
Anyway, tomorrow is my son[japheth]‘s second birthday.. We’re not throwing any party, but we just thank God for this year, and pray that He will lead us toward a better life next year.

cheers..

Adobe to acquire Macromedia!

The power is growing, I can’t wait on the future result of this merge. Adobe and Macromedia‘s products have been the prefered application for various fields of computer related work. Their software are amongst the best software in the software world. I’m not a master of all Adobe and Macromedia software, but I agree on the idea that their software has been helpful and is very helpful for designers, programmer, etc, in both multimedia and web field. One thing I regret is the non-free fact, almost all their software require a license, registration and money! (non freeware). But that’s business, i guess..

I can’t wait on future improvements made on their products. I hope the merge will be successful and will result in more high-quality software and technology.

continous improvement

Nope, not the management jargon or anything like it.

What I meant by continous improvement is about this site. I’ve added some plugins and I think it’ll look nice on this site. And I’m reviewing more plugins and trying to put it on this blog. Hopefully this blog would become more usefull and stylish.

that’s all for today..

browse happy!

See that link at my links list.. browse happy!
Visit browsehappy.com to see the testimony of many people who switch to other browsers other than IE, and why they did it.

I’m not anti IE or M$, but if there are better browsers, why use the inferior one?
for me, IE is inferior in the case of standardization issues. IE has many flaws in keeping itself up-to-date following the trends and new features in web technology.
This Eric Meyer’s website should show it to us. Try loading the website and parts of it using IE and compare the result with other browsers (e.g. Firefox). IE is like a stupid red-nosed fat stinky and ugly clown :o ) , while firefox would shine like barney (the barney series, my son loves this character). I like the quote on WordPress‘ site, “Code is poetry, (use) valid (X)HTML(eXtendible HyperText Markup Language), and valid CSS(Cascading Style Sheet)”.

And I haven’t mention anything about security yet..

Anyways, browse happy, don’t use IE for everyday browsing, use them _only_ for updating your Windows, if you have one that is.. :)
