Aksi Prihatin Terhadap Skema Bisnis Anne Ahira

Kami, warga masyarakat dan komunitas Internet, merasa prihatin terhadap model bisnis yang diterapkan oleh Anne Ahira. Kami keberatan bahwa bisnis ini diasosiasikan dengan melakukan marketing di Internet. Marketing yang dilakukan di Internet sebenarnya adalah sesuatu yang baik dan wajar asalkan dilakukan dalam batas-batas etika dan kewajaran.

Setelah melakukan penyelidikan, kami berkesimpulan bahwa bisnis ini hanyalah sebuah praktik skema piramida yang dibungkus dengan istilah Internet Marketing. Hal ini jelas terlihat dari apa yang harus dilakukan oleh setiap anggota Elite Team, yaitu merekrut empat anggota baru. Skema piramida sejatinya merupakan penghisapan oleh segelintir individu terhadap banyak orang. Menurut kami, Internet tidak perlu dikotori dengan pemasaran dari bisnis tidak jelas seperti itu. Silakan melakukan pemasaran via Internet sejauh masih dalam batas-batas kewajaran dan bisnisnya adalah bisnis yang baik dan jelas.

urge Yahoo to support Firefox!

I got this info from another (priyadi) blog.

Apparently (twice for today! horray!), Yahoo! is not going to support Firefox.
There’s a online petition at petitiononline.com for this matter, please join and sign the petition to urge Yahoo! to return to the standards of the web and support firefox.

xanga site

Apparently, my xanga blog is not that clumsy anyway. I’ve start weblogging as far back in April, 2001. And back then, i was updating it quite often, and the update was more or less on daily basis. But, one fact in common in all my blog is that no one reads it but me.

Probably, i’m not promoting myself enough. I haven’t write useful things much. Or, another possibility is that i’m not in the circle of blog reader people.. Hm, i wonder how do you make your circle of friends to be a blog reader people..

I hope some day, all the benefit of many blog site can become one. The easy way to post a message is of course owned by livejournal.com, they have a specific software (but not created by the owners of livejournal.com) to help us post message to our blog there. The thing about wordpress (or any other cms/program like it) is that it can be installed to our site, and we can customize it ourself, without any ad or banner of promotion bugging in our blog. And ofcourse, there’s Hello and Picasa that makes blogspot/blogger weblog become interesting and fun to play with.. Another thing is a community based weblog like the ones at friendster or yahoo, is always a good and easy way to be in touch with people around you and to make them a blog reader.

Anyways, it’s good to write blog, at least for myself, so on later days I can go back and remember what things I have written and what (mostly silly in the future) things I have in mind.

wordpress upgrade

Yes, it’s been a while,.. i’m not that busy, i’m just a bit lazy
I tried to upgrade (again) wordpress today, and it works! after 2 times failure.. the admin of singcat make the fix, i think.

A beautiful interface.. but still default, I think.
hm.. got some display errors on the back-end of the site, i wonder what happened..
